Congratulations Tyler Nelson!

Congrats to Tyler Nelson for receiving an F31 fellowship award from the National Institue of Neurological Disorders and Stroke of the National Institutes of Health, titled “Neuropeptide Y1 Receptor-Expressing Neurons in the Dorsal Horn and Neuropathic Pain”.

Tyler has also had a review paper that was accepted and selected by the pain research forum as an “Editor’s Pick” this week! His paper’s mention can be found here!

Congrats Kristen Smith-Edwards!!!

Kristin Smith-Edwards (postdoc in Davis lab) received a research grant from the REACH Foundation for her proposed study on Hirschsprung’s disease

REACH funds only one grant per year. 

Kristen’s study will examine alterations in activity of the enteric nervous system in a mouse model of Hirschsprung’s disease.

Each competitor may send unlimited attempts of either 2 [front and back] or just 1 [front] visual logo to saross@pitt.edu to be evaluated and judged for a single winner during our Current Research On Pain (CROP) seminar that will be held on June 21st, 2018.
